KITCHEN
Pretty
pitchers that you don't use all the time make great utensil holders.
This way you can display the pitcher and have your utensils right there.
Window clings
reapply great when you rub both sides of them with a damp dish towel.
Not enough
counter space? Hang up a bar with
"s" hooks and hang the
utensils from that!
Need a spot to
hang a pretty towel? Hang up a mini
towel bar on extra wall space right by the sink.
Perfect spot for a towel!
Accent pretty
picture windows in the kitchen with a plain old curtain rod.
Then fold up pretty napkins from opposite corners and hang them over the
rod. Super cheap idea and super
cute!
Give kitchens
a pretty glow by attaching some "under the cabinet" lights.
They're very cheap to buy and give your entire kitchen a different look
when it's dark.
Save all your
old coffee cans! They can be painted / spray painted and used as utensil
holders, flower pots, organizers, etc.
Next time you
receive fresh flowers, spray them with hairspray and hang upside down to dry
them right away (as long as the person who gave them won't be upset).
When they're dried immediately they'll stay looking more real AND they'll
keep some of their color instead of all drying the same!
Need a
cute centerpiece for something? Grab
a terra cotta pot, a taper candle and your choice of a flower (sunflowers work
great). Cut out the inside of the flower to fit the taper candle snugly.
Put the flower in the pot and the candle in the flower.
(if you need to, put some foam in the bottom of the pot to hold it
upright if it tips)
