About us I, like many of you, am a Mom-On-A-Budget. My name is Jennifer and I knew there had to be a better way! When
our first son was born, our whole lives changed.
I quit my full-time job as a cosmetology instructor and became a
stay-at-home mom. My
husband, Casey and I knew that was the best thing for Braxton, but knew we had to do a few things differently and we had to
start with our budget! Money
was tight and we had to budget EVERYTHING, but I get to raise my kids
(now 2 boys and a little girl!),
take them for walks, watch them learn to crawl, walk, talk……life is
wonderful! So
I set out for some "work at home" to try and help with some of
the bills. I felt sort of
“guilty” not helping out financially.
I searched and searched the internet every night just for
something legitimate. Every "opportunity" wanted you to
send in money and I had heard NEVER to pay for a JOB. After
looking at scam after scam I decided to set up this website for the many
other moms and dads in situations like ours. I didn't want anyone
else to have to go through what I did. It shouldn't be so
impossible to want to stay at home and raise your children yourself. Trust me moms, it really is possible! Don't give up! I’ve learned many tips on saving (and even earning) some money and wanted to pass them on. I hope all of these ideas help you in one way or another. If I’ve made one person laugh, smile or save money today than I’ve done my “job".
